London, England
LBA's first international adventurer recently had the "trip of a lifetime" in London, England! An incredible fighter, who completed more than 1,000 days of cancer treatment, and his wonderful family experienced London as the historic city put on its most enchanting show over the holiday season! We were thrilled to send this resilient family on our biggest adventure to date!
O'ahu, Hawaii
A truly persevering family, who has supported two pediatric cancer warriors through their respective fights, enjoyed a special Hawaiian getaway on the breathtaking coast of O'ahu this fall. They experienced an "absolutely amazing time" filled with rest, relaxation, and family exploration in the Aloha State.
Georgia Aquarium
LBA was thrilled to plan an underwater odyssey of an Adventure for an amazing teen, who is not only excelling in her own personal and therapy goals, but also is making a profound impact helping others on a similar journey. She and her family had a blast experiencing the wonder of the Georgia Aquarium and exploring Atlanta from their warm and welcoming accommodations at The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta.
Hawaiian Getaway
A brave warrior, her hero siblings, and loving parents celebrated a successful Bone Marrow Transplant and life post-treatment with a Hawaiian getaway. Their time on the island of O'ahu was filled with oceanside time to bond as a family and to create countless sun-soaked memories.
Disney's Aulani Resort
A tenacious cerebral palsy warrior with all-star determination and his supportive little brother, who cheers on his progress and milestones every step of the way, experienced an "amazing, fun, and memorable" trip to Disney's Aulani Resort in Hawaii. We are so thrilled they enjoyed a special fall break in on the lovely shores of Ko'Olina.
Hotel Del Memories
A remarkable St. Jude hero, who is filled with positivity and resilience, recently enjoyed a beach getaway on the beautiful shores of Coronado Island! She and her family created many sun-soaked memories on the island and in surrounding San Diego during their stay at the historic Hotel del Coronado.
Aloha Adventure
Two amazing warriors became friends while battling the same type of pediatric cancer. After reaching the hard-fought milestone of completing treatment, each of these remarkable girls celebrated with their own family trip to Disney's Aulani Resort in Ko’Olina, Hawaii. We are so thrilled these wonderful families enjoyed a "perfect tropical vacation" and a "trip of a lifetime" while on the beautiful island of Oahu.
Arizona Cardinals Game
The 2025 NFL Season proved to be another exciting adventure, and LBA was pleased to work with the Children's Cancer Network to send a strong and irrepressible family to an Arizona Cardinals Game at State Farm Stadium. They cheered on the Cardinals as the team took on the Los Angeles Rams.
"Dual in the Desert"
The "Dual in the Desert" is always one of the most anticipated rivalries in the state, as the University of Arizona and Arizona State University NCAA football teams battle it out for the Territorial Cup. This season, LBA was glad to work with the Children's Cancer Network to send a cancer warrior and family to be a part of the action at Mountain America Stadium.
Fall Fun at Disneyland
October may be the height of the "spooky season" at Disneyland, but the park served up only treats for a fall adventurer. It was our pleasure to assist in providing a California Disney Parks vacation for an unstoppable little boy, who is managing his chronic blood disorder with grace, fortitude, and boundless cheer.
Game Day in State College
A special Four Diamonds family experienced an adventure to remember in State College, PA. They "enjoyed every moment of the weekend" - from cheering on the Penn State Nittany Lions in Beaver Stadium to hiking Mt. Nittany. We were thrilled to help this wonderful, resilient family celebrate the milestone of a year post-treatment while exploring Happy Valley.
Savannah Bananas
LBA had the pleasure of working with the Children's Cancer Network to send an amazing survivor and his super siblings to the absolutely electric Savannah Bananas in Glendale. Many, many thanks to the Savannah Bananas for making the game extra special for our Adventurer with an unforgettable visit to the dugout. The trio of heroes enjoyed an "incredible experience" and will cherish the memories forever."
Island Celebration
We’re thrilled that a truly brave boy and his family enjoyed “healing, laughter and pure magic” during their time at Disney’s Aulani Resort in beautiful Ko’Olina, Hawaii. After beating cancer and recovering from a successful liver transplant with the assistance of his dedicated teams at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, this adventurer has much to celebrate. His family’s consistent fortitude and gratitude has been truly inspiring.
Disneyland Magic
Life's Big Adventures was honored to assist our friends at the Phoenix Children’s Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders in creating several magical Disneyland vacations for inspiring warriors over the past year. One such indomitable teen and her family recently experienced "joy they will hold forever" during their stay at Disneyland Resort.
Royal Palms Resort and Spa
Thank you to the Royal Palms Resort and Spa for generously providing a staycation for a resilient local family of four. They created lasting memories at this beautiful Mediterranean oasis while taking in striking views of Camelback Mountain and enjoying world-class cuisine within a desert retreat.
Taylor Swift Concert
Many thanks to all who participated in the "Cases for a Cause" fundraiser in partnership with Belle & Bottle. The resulting funds allowed us to send a tenacious Taylor Swift fan and cancer warrior to a stop on the incredible Eras Tour. The Nashville adventurer attended one of the shows in Music City.

We're very grateful to The Wigwam Arizona for providing a staycation for an inspiring Phoenix family. While sharing in a special family getaway, they made wonderful memories at this award-winning, historic Arizona resort while enjoying the property's beautiful Sonoran Desert landscape, sparking pools, dual water slides, and acclaimed cuisine.
Billie Eilish Concert
We scored tickets to the sold-out Glendale, Arizona stop on Billie Eilish's most recent world tour; and loved sending a resilient fan to the concert at Desert Diamond Arena! It was a pleasure to help a remarkable Phoenix teen and family celebrate his 6-year liver transplant anniversary while at the concert.
Fairmont Scottsdale Princess
Many thanks to the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess resort for generously providing a staycation for an inspiring Phoenix family. This special family recently celebrated as their little warrior had the opportunity to Ring the Bell, signifying end of treatment after more than 2 years at PCH. They made amazing memories as they experienced all that the beautiful property has to offer, including a white sand beach, waterslides, multiple pools & an action-packed kids' club.
Niall Horan Concert
It was a pleasure to work with GiGi's Playhouse Phoenix to send a Niall Horan fan and family to The Show - Live on Tour! They had a special evening, taking in the much-anticipated concert at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre for the tour’s stop in Phoenix this summer.

Disney's California Adventure
A recent adventurer and his family experienced "a truly magical trip" to California Adventure and Disneyland. It was a pleasure to help celebrate the strong cancer warrior and the amazing support network surrounding him. What better place to bring them extra magic than the Happiest Place on Earth?
Great Wolf Lodge Stay-cation
We would like to extend our appreciation to the Great Wolf Lodge Arizona for creating a very special “stay-cation” and birthday celebration for a Phoenix Children’s cancer warrior. She and her family experienced an “amazing long weekend” exploring the indoor water park resort near Scottsdale. From enjoying the pools and water park to traversing the resort’s rope course and hitting the arcade and mini-golf course, the weekend was filled with adventure around every corner.

Frozen, The Broadway Musical
A young cancer-fighting warrior enjoyed her time at the acclaimed Broadway Musical - Frozen. She and her family attended the touring production of the show at ASU Gammage theater.
Ed Sheeran Concert
We were pleased to work with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville to send an adventurer to Ed Sheeran’s Mathematics Tour. After departing RMHC of Nashville following a successful kidney transplant, a remarkable teen and his family "had a blast" at the Nissan Stadium show.

Elf the Musical
Smiling's our favorite, too! LBA had the pleasure of sending an incredibly strong and determined CF warrior to a performance of "Elf the Musical" by The Phoenix Theatre Company. She had a great time at the holiday show, as she celebrated the wonderful milestone
of 2 months post-transplant.
Arizona Cardinals
We were glad to send two persevering Valley families to an Arizona Cardinals game. These resilient Cardinals fans saw the team face the New York Giants at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. It was a game-day to remember!
MLB Spring Training Game
Spring in the Valley of the Sun is synonymous with MLB Training Games. We were excited to send a young sports fan filled with determination to see the Diamondbacks take on the Milwaukee Brewers in Scottsdale.
Coronado Getaway
Another remarkable warrior "made memories that will last a lifetime" on a So. Cal. beach vacation. After beating blood cancer, she and her family take time to give back to the hospital which made her recovery possible as well as to children going through a similar journey. This compassionate girl celebrated the third anniversary of her bone marrow transplant while visiting the Hotel del Coronado on the lovely shores of Coronado Island.
Dua Lipa: Future Nostalgia Tour
A Phoenix teen, and wonderful advocate for childhood cancer survivors, celebrated her high school graduation by attending the Dua Lipa concert. She and her sister – a constant source of support through her journey – make an amazing pair, and they had great time at the show. Many thanks to the Children’s Cancer Network for connecting us with these exceptional siblings.
Vanderbilt Baseball
LBA is thrilled to partner with several Nashville-area nonprofits to send young baseball fans celebrating recent medical victories & milestones on their developmental journey to many of the 2026 season Vanderbilt Baseball home games. It feels especially fitting, as these kids know a thing or two about how to Anchor Down!
Slumber Spa Party
A persevering Phoenix Children’s patient received some much-deserved pampering with a Slumber Spa Party by Tiny TeepeeZzz and Honey Bee Mobile Spa. She and her friends enjoyed a luxe slumber party kicked off with an evening of manis, pedis, and facials.

Camp Rainbow
The Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders at Phoenix Children's is near and dear to our hearts, as are the young warriors who must overcome the many hurdles on the way to beating childhood cancer. A portion of our initial contributions was directed to the Camp Rainbow program at Phoenix Children's Hospital. Camp Rainbow is an annual camp for PCH patients who have, or have had, cancer or a blood disorder. It gives kids the chance to make meaningful connections while taking part in a wide range of fun camp activities.
Billie Eilish Concert
A Billie Eilish fan and family members attended the Happier Than Ever World Tour at Gila River Arena in April. We were glad to work with the Arizona chapter of HopeKids to send this inspiring fan to the sold-out show.
So. Cal Beach Retreat
A courageous girl, who recently conquered cancer, celebrated her incredible milestone with a getaway to Coronado Island. She and her family had the "trip of a lifetime" at the historic Hotel del Coronado, a favorite San Diego destination on one of the most beautiful stretches of beach in SoCal.
Camp Wamp
A special contribution was directed to Camp Wamp, a summer camp in northern CA for kids and teens living with physical disabilities. Camp Wamp - created by the Stephen J. Wampler Foundation - provides life-changing experiences while offering activities such as fishing, canoeing, hiking & more. We agree wholeheartedly with Camp Wamp’s motto,“It’s about what you CAN do!”

"Happiest Place on Earth"
We were honored to assist our friends at the Phoenix Children’s Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders in creating a Disneyland adventure for an inspiring patient. During one of our first adventures, he and his family made many magical memories at the "Happiest Place on Earth."
Harry Styles Concert
Harry Styles had us at, "Treat people with kindness."
A Phoenix teen, and Harry Mega-Fan, who has been working continually - for more than a decade - to surpass his physical therapy goals, attended the Love On Tour concert at Gila River Arena.
NLCS Diamondbacks Game
We were excited to work with the Miracle League of Arizona to send an inspiring fan and parent to a National League Championship Series game. They helped cheer the Diamondbacks on to victory at Chase Field. Let’s go D-backs!
Polar Express Experience
A persevering family traveled to Williams, AZ to board the "Polar Express" for a magical train ride provided by the Grand Canyon Railway. The childhood classic was brought to life for passengers. After spending the night with Santa, the family enjoyed a stay at the Railway Hotel to the complete the "North Pole" experience.
Phoenix Zoo Membership
An incredibly strong and determined lil' lady will be enjoying a year of animal-filled adventures at the Phoenix Zoo with the gift of a Family Membership.
Adventures for Young Fighters
We know the difficult journey of families experiencing childhood cancer - the many hurdles these warriors must overcome. LBA has provided several Ticketmaster gift cards to such fighters, so that each may select an event when the time is right. Most recently, a gift card was sent to an amazing St. Jude hero, who is a three-time brain cancer survivor. Another went to a resilient kiddo, who is moving on to the milestone of maintenance treatment for her leukemia. We continue to Go Gold throughout the year for such fighters in our community.
5 Seconds of Summer Tour
A 5 Seconds of Summer fan and family attended the long-awaited Take My Hand World Tour at Arizona Federal Theatre. We were glad to work with the Arizona chapter of HopeKids to send these special concert-goers to the show.
Nashville SC Match
Thank you to the Westin Nashville for providing tickets to the Nashville Soccer Club match against the Colorado Rapids. We were pleased to work with the Middle Tennessee chapter of HopeKids, Inc. to send a young fan to cheer on the club at Geodis Park.
